The Via Veneto opened on April 21st 2009 on the 2762nd anniversary of the foundation of Rome. It is classified as a 5 star L Hotel and was awarded the Five Star Diamond Award 2009. The building; resulting from an elaborate and complex union of two 19th century adjoining buildings; has a classic facade; in shades of grey and ochre; and as a Heritage building; cannot be altered. Painstakingly refurbished to recreate a sober and coherent atmosphere; the Grand Hotel Via Veneto features furniture and fittings inspired by the early 20th century; whilst still being modern and functional. In each of the 122 bedrooms; our guests can enjoy decorative panels reproducing scenes from ancient Roman and its monuments and churches.
